Museum Ijsselstein wil graag jonge aanstormende talenten een podium geven om zich verder te ontwikkelen. Talentvolle leerlingen van het Cals College Nieuwegein hebben in samenwerking met kunstenaar Evelien de Goeij Kunstwerken gemaakt in Museum Ijsselstein. Op deze wijze ervaren leerlingen hoe het is om als professioneel kunstenaar aan het werk te gaan, wat komt er bij kijken, hoe kijkt een kritische bezoeker naar jou werk? Veel van het werk van deze leerlingen blijft doorgaans binnen het schoollokaal. Maar wat gebeurt er buiten de klas? Waar gaat het werk heen, wie ziet het? Met dit project gaan de leerlingen een stapje verder en treden ze naar buiten. Het kunstwerk - dat aan de eisen van een museum moet voldoen - haalt het uiterste uit deze jonge talenten. De expositie van deze talentvolle leerlingen is een aanvulling op de tentoonstelling in Museum Ijsselstein 'Aanstormend talent bij MIJ'. Het beste uit 2014 van galerie Pouloeuff. Een sprookjesachtige tentoonstelling met bijzondere, vervreemdende, mysterieuze, humorischtische, vernieuwende werken van aanstormende talenten die hun sporen al verdiend hebben.
